Mother of Pearl Dots - Sets of 25

Economy Mother of Pearl (MOP) for you pen inlay projects.  Check out the pictures of my creations using the MOP.... Kissing Fish and Hibiscus designs using the MOP inlay. Its fairly easy

1. Turn the pen blank down to just shy of the finished diameter

2. Drill hole

3. Using tweezers gently press the MOP in place

4. CA glue over the MOP to secure

5. Finish sanding and polishing.

Available in 2mm, 2.5mm, 3mm, 4mm, 5mm, 6mm, 7mm with the 2mm to 3mm being the ideal range for pen making....larger pens maybe 4mm. Less than .20 cents a dot as is; at these prices you can't go wrong.

If the fit is too tight wallow out the hole just a bit with the drill bit and try again. I flip the tweezers around and use the flat surface to press once in place and I do it all on the lathe so minimal waste of time. These are made in India and are not as smooth and well shaped as typical guitar dots but most guitar dots cost $0.40 to $0.60 cents each and here I am selling 25 for  5 or 6 bucks so please be kind.
