The  Rookie Pen Kit® WoodPenPro Designer Series for Novice and Master Pen Turners -- sometimes referred to as the "European Style" and "Monte Blanc Style" pen -- is a mid-sized pen with the classic features of a much more expensive pen and makes an excellent gift.
